A celebration is never complete without Grandma and Grandpa, and we were especially lucky that for this visit they were able to come up the day before Jack’s party to help kick off our birthday weekend! The boys were so excited all week in anticipation of their visit - and in the knowledge that they would be bearing gifts, and their gourmet chocolate milk, AND having a sleepover (!!) at our house - that they could hardly stand it. They arrived in time to pick Jack up from school on Friday which made our birthday boy feel so special! We had plenty of time to play at the house before heading to dinner with Daddy at Fogo De Chao (otherwise known as “the meat restaurant” to our little carnivore). Afterwards, we were treated to the first (!!) birthday cake of the weekend designed by Grandpa with a little help from Superman and Heidelberg Bakery. What a perfect way to start our wild birthday rumpus!
